No Two Snowflakes Are the Same

February 24th, 2012 § 3 Comments

This winter has been quite weird for Michigan, in that we haven’t really had much snow, at all. Therefore when there was a Winter Weather Advisory for last night and today (the first one for the whole season, mind have you) it was quite the shock. And frankly I was not too happy about it, as I am not a winter person. Nonetheless, it did end up snowing over the night and has continued into today, which has allowed me to go trekking through my yard with my loyal companion, Miss Lola and take some pictures of the fresh powder.

Lola truly loves the snow. Winter is her favorite season because she can bound about in the snow and pretend to dig up buried treasures under the snow.

We met some unexpected friends along the way. These are two neighborhood dogs that tend to run loose and come over for a visit. Lola was more than pleased to have the added company to play with.
